Heading into tonight game between Stanford and Oregon, I was like most Duck fans and college football pundits in expecting the Ducks to easily cover the 11 point spread in this year’s contest. Boy, I have never been so wrong in my life when it came to predicting a college football game. I chalked up […]
For every fan, their home stadium has a special place in their heart. And this is especially true with Ducks fans and Autzen Stadium. While there has been an emphasis on Oregon’s uniforms and savvy marketing as contributing factors in the football program’s rise the past 20 years, Autzen Stadium has its role as the […]
If you’re a Ducks football fan and this video doesn’t get you fired up…then you’re not truly a Ducks football fan!
I”ve made it no secret that I’m a proud University of Oregon alum and crazy Ducks fan. I was approached by the co-founder of Duck Biz Lunch Larry LaMotte and asked if I would be interested in being featured in an upcoming issue of the alumni magazine. He told me they were looking for Ducks who have hired other Ducks and he knew that I have been working with fellow J-School grad Kelsey Kaufman (Class of ’12) since late last year. Naturally I was thrilled to participate in the interview and the article was just released in the most recent issue. You can read it below:

Yeah, I’m a little excited…
It’s stating the obvious to say that as individuals, our character, beliefs, values and perspective on life are basically shaped by a series of small events and experiences in our lives. Every person we meet, every job we have, every trip we take – they all add up and help define us as we move […]
I wrote earlier about how excited I was to take Ty to his first San Francisco Giants game when they were in town over Father’s Day weekend to play the Mariners. Being able to share that experience with my own Dad (who took me to my first Giants game 40 years ago) made the experience […]
I’ll never forget the thrills and excitement of an undefeated 2010 Ducks season and the electricity that was in the stadium as we entered it 2 hours before the BCS Championship Game. The Ducks lost that game but they did a great job of building off of the season and turned it into a successful […]
Yes I know it’s only May but this is typically the time of year I really start yearning for football season to return. I found this video earlier today and deemed it worthy enough to begin my own personal list of all the reasons why I love college football (so get ready for more images, […]
